Vineyard
"Where the land, the sun, and the sea breeze embrace our vines, grapes of unparalleled quality and character are born."

Our Vineyard
The vineyard of Manesi Winery is located in the Kakosouli area, in Apikia, Andros, at an altitude of 413 meters. The schistose soil with high drainage capacity, combined with the unique microclimate of the area, creates a terroir that enhances the concentration of aromas and the acidity of the grapes.
Grape Varieties Cultivated
In our vineyard, we cultivate Assyrtiko, Moschato, Potamisi, Roditis, Mavrotragano, and Mandilaria, applying low yields per hectare to achieve maximum concentration of aromas and phenolic maturity. These varieties, each with its unique characteristics, adapt excellently to the climatic conditions of Andros, showcasing the potential of the island's vineyard.
Cultivation Practices
Our cultivation follows gentle, bioclimatic practices, focusing on maintaining the natural balance of the vineyard and minimizing intervention. Harvesting is done exclusively by hand, allowing us to carefully select the optimally ripened grapes. This ensures the best raw material for winemaking, preserving the freshness, structure, and typicity of our varieties.
